Rivu docs

Getting started

Move from source material to an approved production plan.

1. Open the app

Rivu runs at app.rivu.video. Access is invite-only during the private preview.

2. Create a production

Choose the input type that best matches your material:

InputUse it for
PromptA topic or production brief that still needs research and writing
OutlineA known structure with room for script development
ScriptNarration that should remain the editorial spine
AudioA recording or transcript that needs visual production around it
Links and uploadsSource material, footage, stills, documents, or brand assets

Give the production a clear working title and include concrete constraints in the source material.

3. Configure the production

Set the target duration, visual style, narration and caption preferences, sourcing policy, and budget ceiling. These choices shape the production plan. They do not start paid production by themselves.

4. Review the plan

The plan explains how Rivu classified the input, the proposed structure, estimated scenes, sourcing mix, output settings, and expected cost range. Review it before approval.

5. Approve and leave

Approval starts the asynchronous production workflow. Rivu can continue while the browser is closed. Return to the project page to review progress and the assembled scenes.

6. Edit and render

In the scene editor, you can reorder, trim, split, replace, regenerate, edit narration and captions, and request agent revisions. Render the final MP4 after the composition is ready.
